Pre-Conference Elective AAMP Group Golf Outing Play one of the top rated golf courses in the country; exclusively available only to private members and Scottsdale golf resort guests. Surrounded by incredible scenery, Gainey Ranch Golf Club offers an exciting year-round challenge for golfers of any skill level. Each of the three distinct nine-hole courses of our Scottsdale Arizona golf resort, designed by Benz and Poellot, offers a different experience for players. Price: $145/ per golfer Sunday, October 30th Yoga Session A 55-minute class of body shaping that is perfect for body awareness, core activation, strength and power. It will focus on using your natural resistance and movement to help build a long lean physique. This is a full body core workout implementing an intense stretching philosophy. Price: $18/ per person ________________ Art Walk and Lunch Scottsdale is home to more than 125 professional art galleries and studios, one of the highest per-capita anywhere in the nation. Its galleries and studios are most famous for their western and Native American themed art, though a growing devotion to the contemporary arts has taken hold over the past couple of decades - an element most visible by the large number of modern art galleries Lunch will be hosted in one of the featured restaurants in Old Town. Price: $55/ per person Sunday, October 30th AAMP Social Outing Join your AAMP colleagues at the exclusive Gainey Ranch Private Golf Club for a sunset reception with patio vistas. A wonderful venue to enjoy with your friends amid country club greens, flowers, water, fire and the desert backdrop. The reception will include wine and food pairing, optional putting contest and various entertainment. Dinner with wine will be served. Price: $85/ per person Monday, October 31st Crepe Cooking Class Welcome to the wonderful, versatile land of crepes. The thin pancakes from France and distant cousin to the Mexican tortilla. Crepes can be used in every meal from breakfast to dinner, appetizers to desserts. A basic crepe recipe can be spun off in many interesting ways, from sweet to savory, healthy to decadent. Price: $25/ per person Post-Conference Elective Grand Canyon Tour Our Grand Canyon tour will take you thru several magnificent areas of the Great State of Arizona from the desert to the Southwest to the forests of Northern Arizona this tour has it all. Your first stop will be Navajo Nation and the historic Cameron Trading Post known world over for their quality Native American goods, and there fantastic restaurant. We will have a quick lunch with plenty of time for shopping. Then off to the Grand Canyon where your guide(s) will spend three hours touring you thru the Grand Canyon with stops at all the best view points: Desert View, Grandview Point, Mather Point or Yavapai Point and finally the Grand Canyon Village where the historic El Tovar Hotel sits at the rim. There is ample time for picture taking, walking around, and shopping at the Canyon. On the way home, we stop for dinner in Camp Verde and return to the Scottsdale area between 8:00 - 9:00 pm.
